Cozy • Stylish • Chic is seeking an assistant designer with at least a bachelor’s degree in interior design and a keen interest in high-end residential design.  This position will be working directly with Principal and is responsible for executing design from the conceptual stage through the completion of construction documents and final installation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a designer to join a fast-growing firm and to participate in all stages of the creative process.  We are looking for an individual who has a passion for design, is detail oriented, articulate, and is confident in communicating with and presenting to clients and vendors.


•    Attend design meetings with clients and Principal, keeping detailed notes of discussions and responsible for follow up. Report to Principal and act as the liaison with the client.
•     Work with Principal to implement design.
•    Candidate must be highly organized and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
•    Assist with developing client presentations, library organization
•    Detailed knowledge of developing and producing design packages from concept through construction detailing and specification.
•    Sourcing fabrics, furnishings, lighting and accessories from our ready made vendors and coordinating/overseeing custom pieces made by our custom workrooms and artisans.
•    Create client proposals, track purchase orders, and maintain communication between vendors and clients.
•     Update project and client portals so that at any given time any team member will know where we are in the process.


•    Strong communication skills both written and oral
•    Must hold a degree in Interior Design from an accredited school
•    Proficiency in Sketchup, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator a must.  Knowledge of or proficiency in Chief Architect is a bonus.
•    Tech-savvy as you will be utilizing Ivy (our design management software) and Basecamp
•    Candidate must be highly organized and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
•    Design-savvy, basic knowledge of furniture market, textiles, construction details, and interior design
•    Reliable, punctual, detail oriented, and an outgoing personality (a good sense of humor is also welcome!)
•    A self-starter, a passion for design, and the willingness to continue learning.
•    Ability to complete projects alongside Principal under strict deadlines; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
•    Must maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with clients and vendors.
