High Point Market is taking place in High Point, North Carolina October 13-18, and as anyone who has ever attended, can tell you that it is a crazy time – early mornings, late nights, lots of coffee…and an occasional cocktail or two at the evening progresses.

Showhouse in a Showroom at Alden Parkes
I’ll be flying out several days early to set up for the first ever “Showhouse in a Showroom” taking place in the Alden Parkes Showroom. Eight designers from around the country were selected to take part in this exciting new concept, a true collaboration between designers and manufacturers. Design Panel: Get Showhouse Ready
I’ll be chatting with my friend, Christopher Kennedy on getting Showhouse ready. As you know, Christopher produces the Christopher Kennedy Compound during Modernism Week in Palm Springs every February. I have been involved with designing rooms for the Pasadena Showcase House for the past few years. We both have different experiences and will be sharing what we’ve learned and best practices for those considering participating in a show house.
Once I return from High Point Market, I’ll be turning around and diving deep into everything WestEdge Design Fair, which will take place October 18-21 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.
