I haven’t pulled out “the crayons” for a while, because lately my free moments have been very few and far between. However, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking and whipping up rooms in my head because that’s what creative people do when they appear to be sitting idle – the mind NEVER stops. But what good are those thoughts when you can’t share them with anyone? So last night I cleared my desk (that is a HUGE task, in and of itself), pulled out my supplies, headed over to my online shop to pull some of my favorite things, and let my fingers do the walking so that my drawings could do the talking.
Because I find that most people have a difficult time visualizing things, I figured I’d take the guesswork out of the equation to illustrate how easy it is to put together a room in a flash. Thankfully, with the help of my “crayons” and several other useful things in my bag of tricks, I have the gift of being able to express myself on paper so here goes – the first of many “Room in a Flash” posts to come. Enjoy!
