As you may know, last week I ventured off to Salt Lake City to attend Alt Summit. It was a whirlwind 3 days filled with lots of learning, meeting fellow designers, bloggers, and brands, and attending parties from morning until night. Two full days cooped up indoors in hotel conference rooms, I just about had it on the third day and ventured out of my hotel for a breath of fresh (and very cold) air and into downtown Salt Lake City on foot, where I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful Greek revival architecture that was sprinkled throughout downtown. I have a huge thing for architecture but didn’t have enough time to explore the entire city or venture up to Park City to stop in on the Sundance Film Festival. You can bet that this is one city that I will be sure to visit again – next time leaving myself more time to explore.
Because I’ve been running from city and have had such little time to write a post, I am sharing my photos of my stroll around the city. As I write, I am now in Las Vegas, attending market and gathering information on the latest finds and trends. Once I return home, I will have a ton to write, so for now join me in soaking in Salt Lake City architecture!
The shot above is one of my favorites, because I love how on one end of the frame you see the actual church, and on the other end is the reflection off the building.
